We are really pleased and proud to announce that Securious Limited is now listed as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) company as defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC).

Securious – soon to be moving into new offices in the Exeter Science Park – has become the first company in Devon to achieve this status and is now ideally placed to help local businesses and organisations who take payments through credit cards achieve PCI DSS compliance.

Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) companies are independent security organisations that have been qualified by the PCI Security Standards Council to validate an entity’s adherence to PCI DSS. PCI Security Standards Council

CEO Pete Woodward comments:

“Credit card abuse is rife and PCI DSS compliance is an essential requirement for any businesses taking payments from their customers. Having to bring in assessors and consultants from elsewhere has to date made this very expensive – now Securious has achieved this status it means the process will be easier and more cost-effective for anyone in the region who needs help getting to the required level. We are really proud to be the first company in the county to be able to offer this service.”
