Since first launching in 2012, Powderham Food Festival has firmly established itself on the South West food festival trail and continues to grow bigger and better every year – making it the perfect platform for getting your brand in front of an affluent, discerning audience from Devon and beyond.

Set with the spectacular backdrop of Powderham Castle, family home to Lord Charles Courtenay of Devon and recently hosting the BBC Big Weekend, Powderham Food Festival takes place over the first weekend of October. This fun, family festival attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors each year, with visitor numbers in 2015 rising to almost double those in previous years. With a brand new website and marketing strategy for 2016, this visitor numbers are set to rise further still.

Festival organiser Fiona Gofton says: “The two-day food event not only features the very best of the region’s natural larder and food and drink brands, but some of its most talented chefs too. For the second year running, Powderham Food Festival will once again feature the lively Exeter Cookery School Stage – with dazzling demonstrations from esteemed chefs such as Peter Gorton, Mark Dodson, Orlando Murrin, Richard Hunt and cookery school founder Jim Fisher cooking up a storm.”

Not content with displaying the best food and drink the South West has to offer, organisers Bob Small, Fiona Gofton and Gabby Jackson, like to create a fantastic occasion full of culinary wizardry, themed attractions, lively performers and hands-on cooking action to offer entertainment for every generation. The Theatre of Smoke and Fire has gained a loyal following of barbecue and food smoking afficionados, while Bristol Chilli Club provides a further injection of heat with their tongue-defying Great Devon Chilli Challenge – certainly not for the faint-hearted.

Don’t delay… get in contact early to make the most of the sponsorship opportunities available and to find out how your business can gain from being involved in this exciting event.
