PR Works, the only specialist health and science PR consultancy in the South West and which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is sponsoring the Venus Inspirational Woman in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) Award.
The award will recognise an individual who has made a significant achievement in her field, or who has done something to encourage or support the development of women’s careers in STEMM.
PR Works’ managing director Andrew Gould said: “This is the first year that the Inspirational Woman in STEMM Award has existed in Devon and I would love it to be a huge success. I know that there are women involved in STEMM occupations in Devon who are immensely successful – university professors, science or maths teachers, inventors and engineers, science business owners – and who are an inspiration to us all, regardless of gender. I hope that everyone will help to celebrate that success by nominating them for this award.”
