Cycle maintenance courses and Open Workshop sessions at Ride On Cycling

As you know RideOn are busily recycling used bikes at our base in Haven Rd's sports district, and we also like to teach people how to fix their own bikes:

A cycle maintenance course centered on your bike.
From the basics to an overview of the deeper workings of the bike; the aim is to save you money on repairs and to demonstrate just how empowering and enjoyable cycle mechanics can be. If you do need to go to a bike shop for help, knowing exactly what you need to ask for is very confidence inspiring too.

Spaces are limited to a maximum of eight people in a relaxed and supportive environment. New cables, tubes and brake blocks are usually available in the workshop at a small charge. We may be able to supply used parts should you need them. Feel free to bring spares along if you have them ready to fit!

Saturdays 10am to 4pm

 

 

We also hold 'open workshop' sessions where people can repair their own bikes and get access to some of those tools that aren't in always the home workshop:
