Strategic PR consultancy KOR Communications has been shortlisted in two categories in the 2016 South of England and Channel Islands Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Awards.

For the second year running, KOR has been selected as one of the region’s best PR firms, shortlisted in the Outstanding Small PR Consultancy category. In addition, the team of six has been entered into the Public Sector Campaign category for their work on ‘10 years of our changing coastlines’, a campaign for the South West Coastal Monitoring Programme.

The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the outstanding work being delivered by PR agencies across the UK. Shortlists and winners are selected by an esteemed judging panel of industry experts with finalists announced in November.

Founded in 2006 by Managing Director Annette Richman, the team at Exeter-based KOR Communications have also been celebrating the firms’ tenth anniversary this year with a range of new client wins.

KOR’s portfolio of long-standing clients, including Clinton Devon Estates, Devon County Council, Exeter City Council, the Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival, Cavanna Homes and LHC Architecture +Urbanism, has been boosted by the likes of Exeter Science Park, FAB Project and BDS Solutions.

Annette said: “This year has been an outstanding one so far. We’ve seen substantial growth to our client portfolio and taken on new staff as our business continues to grow. To be recognised as one of the region’s best PR agencies for the second year running is a testament to the commitment we make to our industry and to our clients.

She continued: “We are incredibly proud to have a growing list of long-term clients. Our aim is to work in partnership with businesses and organisations, to become part of their team and to help them achieve their aims and objectives whilst maintaining their reputation. We are a very dedicated team of PR and communications professionals, delivering a wide variety of projects and campaigns across the south west. To be shortlisted in two categories in the regional CIPR Awards is a great achievement for all of us here at KOR and helps to highlight the brilliant work being achieved on behalf of our clients.”

The 2016 South of England and Channel Islands CIPR winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Bristol on 25th November.
