Help grow cycling in Devon!

By August 25, 2016January 26th, 2021Member News & Updates

The Devon Cycle Challenge is a fun, free workplace competition to encourage employees to experience first-hand the joys and benefits of riding a bike. Throughout September 2016, workplaces across Devon will be competing again to win fantastic prizes.

The aim is to grow cycling in Devon, and at the same time making our workplaces and communities healthier, safer and greener.

How does it work?

1. Register. It’s free!

Register on the Love to Ride Devon website and confirm your organisation to take part in the Cycle Challenge 2016.

2. Ride for 10 minutes or more

Log your rides on the website to earn points and start competing for prizes! Any ride of 10 minutes or more counts as a ride that will earn you points, whether it is to work, to the shops or for fun/ fitness.

You can also log rides by linking your profile to your favourite smartphone apps, including Ride Report, Moves, Strava, Endomondo, and Map My Fitness.

3. Recruit friends and colleagues

Encourage others to register and log their rides to earn even more points. Be a champion for cycling and help spread the word!

If you have any questions, please have a look at the Love to Ride Devon website for more information and FAQ's or feel free to get in touch with Challenge Manager Marjolein Rijken via [email protected].
