Exeter Science Park is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO), to take the development of the Park to the next level.

The Science Park was opened in 2013 to drive a knowledge-based economy in the South West and has gone from strength to strength over the past three years.

With a constant flow of new tenants and three new buildings set to open over the next two years, the Park has firmly cemented its position as a hub for fast-paced, ambitious science and technology businesses and entrepreneurs.

Now at a critical time of growth and development, Exeter Science Park Limited (ESPL) is seeking an innovative and pragmatic Chief Executive Officer to continue to drive the business. The aim of the CEO will be to grow science, technology, engineering, data, environmental and medicine enterprises across the region; encouraging knowledge sharing between scientists and business, as well as incubating new disruptive technologies.

Professor Sir William Wakeham, ESPL’s Chairman, said: “In order to build on the foundations of the Science Park’s success and to reach fresh audiences, we are seeking an experienced, professional and ambitious CEO. The person in this new role will be at the helm of the organisation, forging relationships, setting out and meeting commercial targets as the buildings and businesses across the Park are developed. It will be a challenging role but one that has the potential to make a real difference to the economy in the Exeter region.”

ESPL is offering a competitive salary, along with a company bonus scheme and relocation package. This is an exciting chance to be part of a progressive and strategically significant project in a beautiful location.
