Bryn Jones Becomes Regional Director at CGL’s Exeter Office

CGL is delighted to announce the promotion of Bryn Jones to Regional Director at CGL’s Exeter Office with effect from 1st October.


Since joining CGL in mid-2015 as an Associate Director at the company’s Harrogate Office, Bryn quickly became a key member of the CGL geotechnical team.


Bryn is a Chartered Geologist and Geotechnical Specialist with over 13 years’ experience in geotechnical ground investigation and geotechnical engineering design working with multi-disciplinary schemes for railway, highway, private sector and local authority clients.


Bryn’s experience includes involvement in major civil engineering projects including South West Scotland and Gills Bay OHL Corridors, Energy Alliance, Thameslink Depots, Crossrail ONW, Hatfield Colliery Landslide and i54 Strategic Employment Scheme. 


Bryn has expertise in the design and supervision of earthworks, geotechnical investigations, deep and shallow foundations, embedded and gravity walls, plus temporary works, which will enhance CGL’s Exeter’s offering in geotechnical design and investigation. Bryn will also help widen and develop the business capacities within the Exeter Office and provide further support to existing and future clients.
