On Wednesday 16th November our Year 2 children had a chance to try out life in the Prep School. They spent the morning cooking with Madame Stewart and creating art with Mrs Reavill. In the afternoon they spent some time with the Year 3 teachers before joining the Year 3 and 4s at Junior Choir with Mrs Smith. After some very enthusiastic vocal warm-ups the Year 2s made a very impressive addition to the choir. Here are some of their comments;
‘The best part was making the monsters and playing outside on the Chantry playground because I got to play with my brother and see where the older children play.’ – Isaac
‘My best part of the Chantry was making the monster in Art because it was fun, and the Art room is amazing! Also the cooking bit because we made smoothies in the cookery room!’ – Charlotte
‘The best part of the day was cooking because I liked making, and drinking a smoothie!’ – William
The children also loved singing with the Junior Choir in Kalendar Hall.
