Exeter M&S boosts ELF’s funds

The Exeter branch of M&S has raised £8,980 for Exeter Leukaemia Fund, their charity of the year.  The money will be used to support more patients affected by blood cancers and blood disorders in Devon.

Fundraising activities included a Danceathon; a Swimathon; a Bring and Buy Sale; Carol Singing and the collection tins have been out in the store throughout the year. Staff have also supported ELF through volunteering at the ELF Volunteers’ Cream Tea Event and organizing collections for the ELF charity shops.

Alison Upton from ELF says “We are thrilled to have had the support of the M&S team who have really embraced the fundraising challenge and got involved.  They have been a really enthusiastic and professional team to work with and it’s been a lot of  fun.”

Charlotte Boyce from M&S commented “It’s been great fundraising in partnership with ELF. Staff have been engaged and enthusiastic all coming up with ideas and getting involved. We are really pleased to have been able to help such a worthwhile charity.”
