Top 40 advisory firm, Bishop Fleming, has continued its solid growth with the recruitment of 24 new trainees this month, taking the total number to 30 in the past twelve months.

To keep pace with growing demand, Bishop Fleming's team has grown to over 330, and the firm is still recruiting.

Commenting on the strong performance, Bishop Fleming's Chair, Ian Smith said:

“Our business growth enables us to continually invest in new talented trainees who will grow with us to become our business advisers of the future. Right from the start, we're committed to helping them develop a lasting career with an ambitious firm”.

The firm recently celebrated 12 of its existing people qualifying as Chartered Accountants.

Bishop Fleming's HR Director, Barbara Wood, commented:

“Despite nervousness and uncertainty over the post-Brexit economy, we have seen a rapid growth in demand for our services across all sectors. While we are still actively recruiting, we also have a strong commitment to developing our own people.”

Barbara added: “The firm continues to innovate to reflect the changing market. In particular, the forthcoming digital tax revolution and Big Data analytics for audit require us to recruit talented people for the digital market place of the future.”

Bishop Fleming is ranked number 33 in the Accountancy Age list of top 50 accountancy firms in the country, and 42nd in the Sunday Times Top 100 places to work, accredited as an “outstanding” employer.
