As​ ​one​ ​of​ ​the​ ​most​ ​environmentally​ ​friendly​ ​printers​ ​in​ ​the​ ​UK,​ ​Ashley House take​ ​great​ ​pride​ ​in​ ​becoming​ ​a​ ​finalist​ ​in​ ​the​ ​environment​ ​category​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Digital​ ​Printer​ ​Awards​ ​2017​ ​for​ ​a promotional​ ​brochure​ ​that​ ​they printed​ ​using​ ​HP​ ​Indigo​ ​5500.
To​ ​be​ ​shortlisted​ ​in​ ​the​ ​environment​ ​category,​ ​industry​ ​professional​ ​judges​ ​who​ ​were​ ​picked​ ​for their​ ​relevant​ ​sector​ ​expertise​ ​and​ ​knowledge,​ ​were​ ​looking​ ​to​ ​fulfil​ ​the​ ​following​ ​criteria:
“We are looking for jobs​ where​ minimising environmental​ impact​ is​ at the heart​ of​ the​ project. This​ may​ include​​ short​ and​ on-demand​ production​ to​ eliminate waste, customised content to improve relevance​ while​ reducing​ page​ count,​ and​ distributed​ production​ to​ eliminate transportation.​ The​ choice​ of​ materials​ used​ to​ minimise​ initial​ impact​ and​ ensure​ recyclability​ at end​ of​ life​ will​ also​ be​ considered.”
Ashley House are​ ​passionate​ ​about​ ​the​ ​environment​ ​and do their very ​best​ ​to​ ​source products​ ​that​ ​have​ ​minimal​ ​impact​ ​on​ ​the​ ​planet​ ​because​ ​they​ ​want​ ​to​ ​make​ ​the​ ​world​ ​a​ ​greener place.​ They are ​continually​ ​working​ ​ ​to ​leave​ ​the​ ​lightest​ ​possible​ ​footprint​ ​and​ ​by producing​ ​sustainable​ ​print,​ ​they ​help​ ​their​ ​customers​ ​reduce​ ​their​ ​carbon​ ​footprint​ ​too.
