Bishop Fleming, alongside Ashfords, were delighted to host a dinner for some of the most influential business women in the South West at Lympstone Manor on Thursday 21 September.

The evening brought together women from Flybe, Pennon, South West Water, Grey Matter, Condition Monitoring Group, Hazelwoods Holiday Park, EIC Group, Exeter City Council, Ashfords and Bishop Fleming, including Tax Director, Isobel Savage and Partner, Fleur Lewis.

Fleur commented “Getting these influential women together in busy modern day life is always a challenge. Dinner at Lympstone Manor, hosted by Michael Caines, was certainly an exciting draw. We were delighted to partner with Ashfords bringing together high profile business women in the South West for an evening of fantastic food, laughs and (some) business talk in a relaxed and informal environment”.

Bishop Fleming and its staff are very active members in the ‘women in business' network. Thursday 28 September see's the launch of the Devon and Cornwall Venus Awards at the Bishop Fleming office in Plymouth, with this year being the 4th year of Bishop Fleming sponsorship.

The Venus Awards were formed in 2009 to recognise, reward and celebrate local working women in business. Sponsoring a category in the Devon and Cornwall Awards is a real honour for Bishop Fleming. Getting to see successful women from across the board come together to celebrate achievements is exactly what inspires them to be involved with events like this and to host women in business events themselves.
