HotSW LEP’s Annual Conference & AGM

With business support taster sessions taking place throughout the afternoon with the HotSW Growth Hub

We would like to invite you to register for the HotSW LEP’s Annual Conference & AGM which will be held on Friday, 10th November at the Somerset County Cricket Grounds in Taunton.

The Conference is an opportunity to meet with the wider LEP partnership and to network with other stakeholders.  It is a free event that is aimed at the private, public and third sectors, and that will include an update on present economic issues for our area and a look at what is planned for the future.  This year, the focus will be around the productivity plan for our area.

The afternoon session is being coordinated by the HotSW Growth Hub, the LEP’s main mechanism for engaging with businesses throughout Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay. The afternoon will include an opportunity for business owner’s to hear directly from support schemes about the funded and part-funded business support that is available to them. Business support providers will be available to talk with you on the day.

Taster sessions (booked via the registration link above) will take place throughout the afternoon addressing the popular business topics of; exporting, increasing productivity, digital, finance and GDPR.

We are expecting that demand will be high and recommend that you reserve your place early.  To this end the registration link above is to reserve your place at the Conference & AGM and to book your preferred break-out seminar sessions.




Please note: Attendees can stay for just the AM session, just the PM session or for the full day. Please state your preference whilst registering to attend.

Morning Break Out Session  |  The LEP has three Leadership Groups that work with the Board and they each provide the leadership and advice for their theme. Each group will provide an update on their activities, their plans for the future and a chance to discuss the links with the proposed Productivity Plan. To find out more about the work of the three Leadership Groups you can go to . You can select your chosen breakout session whilst registering for this event.

Lunch with an opportunity to network and visit the stands around the main hall



14:00 – 17:00

The Heart of the South West Growth Hub will be facilitating tailored Taster Sessions on popular business topics, including:

  • GDPR, an introduction
  • Exporting for businesses
  • Finance for businesses
  • Leading digital transformation, a key to productivity
  • Increasing productivity, with examples from manufacturing

Businesses of all sizes and operating in all sectors are invited to join these free-to-attend business workshops. You can reserve your chosen taster session(s) whilst registering.
