Ashfords appoints Head of Client Services

National law firm Ashfords has appointed Corporate Partner Louise Workman as the firm's Head of Client Services. Louise, who is based in Ashfords' head office in Exeter, leads the Retail Sector for firm with vast experience advising leading retailers on their strategic legal issues.

 

Garry Mackay, CEO of Ashfords, commented: “The appointment of a Head of Client Services reinforces the importance Ashfords places on delivering the best service to our clients. The role will ensure that we continue to strengthen our client focus and provide a service that anticipates and adapts to our clients' needs ensuring we maximise opportunities for them“.

 

This appointment follows a significant period of growth that has seen the firm's turnover rise 69% over the last five years. In this time Ashfords has launched and grown its expert patent and trademark agency; undertaken investments in external companies; and expanded its innovative regulatory offering with a dedicated platform, Business Regulatory Solutions (BRS), developed in partnership with the Chartered Trading Standards Institute.

 

Louise, who also has significant corporate experience in group structures and has advised on major strategic issues such as global joint ventures, commented on her appointment: “This role highlights the firm's position of putting our clients' needs and the service that we provide at the forefront of everything that we do.
