The agricultural consultancy team at Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants has been further strengthened by the arrival of Angela Blackman.
With over a decade’s experience helping South West farming and rural businesses with their finances, Angela’s appointment further expands the depth and range of services available to Thomas Westcott’s many agricultural clients in the region.
Angela said: “My priority has always been to ensure my clients get the very best advice when it comes to driving value from their businesses and getting the best value from their assets.
“I do so by working closely with the business owners, building solid relationships in order help them achieve their aspirations and ambitions through my agricultural business expertise and financial skills, all underpinned by a professional understanding of the sector.”
She added: “I believe strongly in delivering high levels of customer service and have found Thomas Westcott to be a firm that shares my own values when it comes to providing clients with the very best services available.”
Thomas Westcott’s agricultural consultancy is led by Peter Brown, who said: “Now, probably more than any other time, farming is an industry dominated by external factors.
“Our team works with many local farming businesses, and have helped achieve funding for new business ventures, develop succession plans to move ownership from one generation to the next and worked with family farms to ensure that their businesses are able to prosper through difficult times.
“We work with many local farmer businesses to access Government funding to help their business development plans.
“We have exciting development plans for our business and look forward to working with new clients in the next few months.
“These and more are areas where we offer our invaluable specialist knowledge to ensure our clients get the best possible outcome and, to deliver this service, we require the very best, most passionate people, and for that reason we are delighted to welcome Angela into our team.”
