The Premier League Kicks programme saw a new partnership with ATASS staff created over Easter. Their staff volunteered on Friday 6th April to lead and work alongside staff from CITY Community Trust to deliver a multisport day at Wonford Sports Centre. The day was exclusively aimed at Premier League Kicks participants from around the City, which provides FREE sports coaching sessions to young people of ages 8-19. The delivery is focused over a variety of areas in our community including Wonford, Merrivale, Tiverton & Cranbrook. During the day the youngsters were able to take part in Dodgeball, Korfball and Tag Rugby as well as receiving a free lunch and goody bag from ATASS.

The Premier League Kicks scheme aims to inspire more young people to get active within their local area and help them realise their potential. It is funded by several partners including the Premier League, Exeter City Council Community Safety Partnership, Exeter City Council Board Grant & ECC Ward Grants (Priory and St Loyes) & Devon County Council. CITY Community Trust have delivered the Premier League Kicks over the last two years to over 200 young people in the Greater Exeter area. If you’d like to partner with us and improve the lives of more young people in the city please get in contact.
