Exeter City Council’s Environmental Health & Licensing department host training event on allergen awareness

On Tuesday 5th June, Exeter City Council’s Environmental Health & Licensing department is running a training event for food businesses on allergen awareness.

Since December 2014, it’s been a legal requirement for businesses selling non-prepacked foods (e.g. cafes, restaurants etc.) to declare whether any specific allergens are present.

The training (run by experienced Environmental Health and Trading Standards Officers) will offer practical advice to businesses on how to comply with the law and allow plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

 

The event will be on Tuesday 5th June at Exeter City Council Civic Centre from 9.30am – 11.30am.
