It is not long now until the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and Exeter City Community Trust plan to celebrate by dedicating an event to the Primary Schools they have worked closely with this year on Thursday 7th June. The event will take place on the brilliant new 3G astro turf at the Exeter College Sports Hub in Exwick. Teams of 6 a-side (girls and boys from years 3 and 4) will compete in this free football tournament where the winning school will receive a World Cup replica trophy.

Parents and family can support on the day between 10.30 am – 2.30 with plenty parking available on-site at Exwick. Owing to the expected popularity of the event there is a limit of 20 teams only. Teams will be selected on a first-come first-serve basis and you will need to confirm your attendance with the CITY Community Trust coaching staff at [email protected]

Once attendance is confirmed, each school will be given a team name which will be one of the World Cup nations. Teams can create a flag and team decorations to match your given nation on the day. There will be additional activities on the perimeter of the 3G astro turf to take part in, such as the CITY Community Trust inflatable target shot.
