Life Changing Adult Education Advice on Offer at Exeter College Open Event.


Exeter College – the best college in the country – is opening its doors this month to showcase its life changing range of professional and adult education courses starting this September 2018.


Whether you are looking to enhance or change career, improve your confidence and skills, return to work or education, there is something for everyone.


Courses on offer range from professional courses, GCSE English and Maths for Adults, Access to Higher Education, and degree level courses as well as evening and daytime leisure courses.


Specialist staff will be on hand to provide advice and guidance about the options that are available to adults, including support for your studies.


Time is running out before the Adult Training and Learning Event, on Tuesday, 19th June 2018, from 5-7pm, at the Centre for Creative Industries, off Queen Street, Exeter.


Exeter College is an Ofsted Outstanding college, named for the second consecutive year as the best college in the country. The college is one of the very few colleges and universities in the whole country to be Gold rated for its degree level teaching.


The college offers a number of Access to Higher Education (HE) courses that enable adults to start their degree journey, including a new Access to HE courses in STEM Computing, Business and Education, starting in September 2018.


There are also a wide range of degree level courses available, as well as professional programmes. The college’s professional qualifications are staffed with industry experts who are well qualified, we are registered with industry recognised organisations and deliver qualifications such as AAT and the CMI.


There is an exciting new Government initiative where anyone working full time and earning less than £15,736.50 a year has the potential to study for free – there has never been a better time to upskill.


Sharon Birch, from Crediton, who progressed from an Access to HE course at Exeter College through to a degree, is now set to embark on training to become a teacher.

She said: “Completing the Access Diploma and undertaking my degree at Exeter College really has been life changing.”
