South West Communications Group has made a significant step-change in their product portfolio with the launch of their managed network service.

Already a provider of data network infrastructure, such as local and wide area networks, swcomms is putting its years of engineering expertise to good use to offer this new service to their customers and other businesses.

John Holdstock, swcomms’ ICT director, said: “When it comes to a data network, performance issues can lead to expensive downtime, customer complaints and reduced staff productivity. Proactively managed networks make all the difference, but this can be time consuming and costly for in-house IT teams.

“Our managed network service can transform businesses. It removes complexity, reduces costs and frees IT staff from the administrative burden, allowing them to focus on strategic projects. Their networks will move into the hands of our expert team of accredited engineers with proactive 24/7 monitoring and maintenance.”

swcomms’ managed network service gives businesses complete visibility of all their IT platforms, whether they are in the cloud, on site or both.

swcomms’ engineers will proactively monitor, optimise, diagnose and repair any managed service device. They will make business as usual changes, trouble-shoot, send alerts and give regular reports and advice on the status of a network, applications and systems.

This new managed network service can be added to an existing customer network or as part of a newly provided network or security environment from swcomms.

“This is just one area that sets swcomms apart from the competition because many solution providers will simply commission your new equipment and expect you to do the rest,” added Mr Holdstock.

swcomms has more than 35 years’ experience within the communications, connectivity, IT and cloud industries having installed a full range of solutions to SMEs, enterprise, public sector and multi-site businesses and organisations within multiple sectors.
