Kim Glover, Founder of Exeter PA Network, returned from London after winning a Rising Star Award from WeAreTheCity (WATC) recently. On the centenary of the women's vote, the WATC celebrated leading women from across the UK to recognise and award their successes. The awards received over 35,000 votes from 104 countries and aim to showcase female role models across different industries and professions. Kim won a Rising Star Award in the Executive Assistant & Personal Assistant award category. Kim was celebrated for her hard work, dedication and success in creating the Exeter PA Network, a popular professional networking group for all admin support professionals across the region.
The Network, which promotes learning and development by sharing best practices and arranging training sessions, workshops, conferences, plus a variety of regular social events, has also been shortlisted for UK External Network of the Year in the Manchester PA Network Awards. The Awards will take place in November, and will be the first time there has been an award to recognise PA Networks across the UK.
