The Health Innovation Programme

The South West Academic Health Science Network in partnership with SETsquared, will be providing a comprehensive business support programme to healthcare and life sciences ventures located within Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.

The Health Innovation Programme is an immersive and interactive four-day training course for entrepreneurs with an

idea for a health-based product or service. Participation in this event is fully funded and supported by the South West Academic Health Science Network.

The programme includes sessions on how to write a great business plan, understand the NHS as a marketplace, getting to grips with company valuations, funding sources, and how to pitch for investment. It also includes sessions on how to understand and explain the value that your product will bring to healthcare customers, and the regulatory and information governance standards that have to be met to bring a product to the healthcare market and how to tap into the national schemes available to support the adoption of innovation.

The dates for the programme are 30th, 31st, October and 7th, 8th November at Exeter Racecourse, with an applications deadline of the 24th September.
