This weekend’s highlights for the Exeter Food Festival and Exeter Beats

The countdown is over as tonight is the first Exeter Beats evening which officially kicks off the Exeter Food Festival with live music and local food and drink.

The Food Festival gates then open tomorrow at 10am.

We’ve put together some daily highlights for you to add to your #FoodFest19 itinerary.

 

FRIDAY NIGHT

On Friday 3rd May, festival goers can kick off the bank-holiday weekend with the ultimate party line-up;

  • DJ set from Radio Exe
  • New Heroes
  • DJ Kristian Nairn

 


SATURDAY

11am – Oaty Muffins cookery class at the Kids Cookery Zone

12pm – Children’s pasty making with Chunk of Devon in the Dart’s Farm Tipis
1pm – Butter Bike Co. peanut butter tasting in the VIP Lounge
3.45pm – Mitch Tonks' fish demonstration at the Seafood Saturday Cookery Theatre
All day – Hands-on pizza making in the Darts Farm Tipis

6.30pm – Scott Mills DJ set at Exeter Beats


SUNDAY

12pm – Good Game's meaty demonstration in the Meat Up Sunday Cookery Theatre 

1pm – Riverford Field Kitchen's A Veg Adventure Lunch in the Live Better marquee
3pm – Summer Cocktail Masterclass at the Dart's Farm Tipis with Tarquin's Gin and Luscombe Drinks

5.15pm – Michael Caines’ and Lympstone Manors demonstration in the Meat Up Sunday Cookery Theatre
6.30pm – Nick Grimshaw DJ set at Exeter Beats


MONDAY

11am – Chocolicious treats children's class by the Exeter Chocolate Festival at the Live Better marquee
11.30am – Live original pop, rock and country music from Chris Ostler 
1.45pm – Jack in the Green's Matt Mason will be demonstrating at the Michelin Monday Cookery Theatre
2.00pm – Foraging and feasting with James Chubb at the Dart's Farm Tipis

3.30pm – Making Healthier Choices with former Chiefs player turned personal trainer, Tom Johnson
