We were thrilled to have Ann Hunter, BID Manager for InExeter, speaking at the Tribe launch event in August. Here’s what she had to say:

“We are an incredibly passionate, involved business community and the turn out tonight is testament to that. Exeter is a hugely ambitious creative and entrepreneurial city and Tribe is a great example of the type of innovative projects coming out of the city.

Tribe is an opportunity to invest in the future of our city and a service which encourages businesses to support other local businesses. This project enables easy access to cost-effective local alternatives. Consider where you buy your corporate or promotional items. Could a local independent offer you the same solution?

The beauty of Tribe is that whatever size or sector of business you are, from artisan independent, professional services to brand name retailer, you can get involved. As Owen Richards said, pledge your support, take the survey, switch to a local supplier and more importantly, spread the word. Let’s not lose business from this city. Let’s retain the spend here and invest in our own local economy. There are some great local suppliers here.”
