Exeter Chamber of Commerce & Industry has announced Steve Campion, Vice Principal (Finance and Business Operations) at Exeter College, will be retiring from the Chamber board this month. Mr Campion has been a director of Exeter Chamber since 2016, and is leaving Exeter to take up a national Further Education role.
Mr Campion said: “I would like to thank my fellow board members for their support over the last four years, and wish the Chamber well as it continues to support Exeters growth. The link between education, skills and business is a key element to this, something I hope my successor will continue to promote”
Exeter Chamber now has a vacancy on the Board for a Director with a background in the education sector. The deadline for applications is Friday 31st January.
The successful candidate will work with the other board members as the voice for business in Greater Exeter, striving to improve and influence the potential for business growth and to empower members by providing important insight and information on the business environment.
