To all members of Exeter Chamber of Commerce,

This academic year Exeter Cathedral School is celebrating 25 years of co-education. Welcoming girls as well as boys in September 1994 was a significant milestone in our 840-year history as Exeter’s oldest school, and we are proud to mark a quarter of a century of full co-education.

We are holding a number of 25th Anniversary events throughout the year, and we are delighted to invite you to our forthcoming Big Art Show: a Portrait of Co-education, on Tuesday 3rd March at 7pm.

The Big Art Show is a one-off visual celebration of co-education and creativity: portrait work from every pupil across the School will be on display, as well as creations by ECS alumni who have gone on to win Art Scholarships to their senior schools.

We are proud to be purposefully bucking the national trend of squeezing out creative and performing arts: our creative curriculum is more alive than ever, and we would be delighted to welcome you to Kalendar Hall (South Street entrance) on Tuesday 3rd March to share in our celebrations.

This is an invitation-only event, and we hope very much you will be able to join us. Please RSVP by 27th February to [email protected].
