Ada Lovelace Building launching 2020

By January 1, 2021April 28th, 2021EXIST

Work on the £7 million Ada Lovelace Building at Exeter Science Park will commence in January 2020, marking the latest phase of the Park’s development.

The 20,000 square feet of office space for businesses in STEMM sectors will create around 150 new, high-quality jobs.

Expressions of interest are now being taken for the offices ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 square feet, which can be configured to suit tenant requirements. Construction is due for completion in November 2020.

The three-storey building is named after 19th Century English mathematician Ada Lovelace, a name chosen by local students at the Big Bang Fair South West in June 2019.

The building is partly funded by £5.5 million from the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership’s (HotSW LEP) Growth Deal Funding.
