Get Set to Tender – Devon

We are thrilled to have been awarded the contract to support small, medium enterprises (SMEs) operating in Devon to become Local Authority Procurement Ready! Our delivery of this contract will help SMEs to better understand procurement and tenders and enable them to bid for opportunities in the public sector – in turn supporting the local economy of the communities they work in.

What’s on offer:

Tender support will be delivered through a blend of 2 hour group workshops and/or hour long individual 1:1 sessions. Each SME who enrols on the scheme can select which approach (1:1, workshops or both) best meets their needs.

Workshops

  • An introduction to procurement and tendering aimed at organisations who have yet to take advantage of the opportunities that exist. Introductory workshops will explore how to access public sector opportunities.
  • Intermediate support is aimed at organisations who have some experience in tendering for public sector contracts.
  • Writing tender responses – aimed at all organisations who want to secure public sector opportunities.

1:1

You can set the agenda for your Get Set to Tender 1:1 sessions, enabling you to obtain support that really does meet your current tendering needs. For example, the sessions can include reviewing past bid performance, or helping with a live tender.
