Exeter Chamber and University of Exeter Business School have formed a new partnership to build a closer relationship between the business community and the University.  This newly formed partnership will see the two powerhouses of the business community collaborate and support SMEs in Exeter, offering programmes and courses for employers to help them grow their businesses.

Richard Marsh, CEO of Exeter Chamber says; “We want to use this partnership to encourage Chamber members to make the most of the amazing services The University of Exeter Business school has to offer them. We are extremely lucky to have a globally recognised business school on our doorstep. Working with a Triple Crown accredited business school will have a huge impact on any business and we are excited to see the results.”

On15th September, over 50 businesses attended a special event at the University of Exeter Business School on the Streatham Campus to explore opportunities on offer to support their business growth. Businesses found out more about the new Help to Grow Business Management programme, which will be launching in Exeter in early 2023, including how to sign up for the programme.

Hosted by Richard Marsh, CEO of Exeter Chamber and Ciara Eastell, Professor of Practice at Exeter Business School, attendees heard from Rachael Johnstone, Director of Degree Apprenticeships at University of Exeter Business School plus guest speakers including, Russ Wakeham of Two Drifters Distillery, James Woollam of David and Charles Ltd and Lisa Vanstone of One Voice Media who all shared their experiences of working with the Business School.

Ciara Eastell, Professor of Practice at Exeter Business School says; “We’re very excited to be launching this partnership with Exeter Chamber encouraging business leaders to access world-class learning right on their doorsteps.”

This collaboration is the first of many exciting partnerships for Exeter Chamber, which continues to drive business success in the city.
