
Exeter Chamber has declared its first ever standalone business awards, The Exeter Impact Awards a huge success. Over 220 attendees came together to celebrate business success in Exeter and the greater Exeter area, at The Forge, at Winslade Manor on Thursday 20th April 2023.
The awards received over 70 entries and nominations across the six categories: People, Place, Business, Next Generation, Team Achievement and Chamber Member.
The winners of the categories are;
People: Ciara Eastell, University of Exeter Business School
Place: Sonya Ellis of Exeter Craft Hub – sponsored by One Voice Media
Business: Mumie (Mama Health Ltd) – sponsored by bespa
Next Generation: Sean Tilson of Checkit Plus Ltd – sponsored by SETsquared Exeter
Team Achievement: Football Fun Factory – sponsored by Building Greater Exeter
Chamber Member: Coastal Recycling
The judges were so impressed by the entries that Highly Commended awards were also presented to four additional people and businesses. Among the standout recipients were Andy Hood of Westbank, Princesshay’s Soft Services Team, Generator Hub and Smart Cookie Virtual Assistant.

The Exeter Impact Awards will now form part of the annual events calendar for Exeter Chamber and will continue to showcase the diverse and inspiring work being carried out by businesses in Exeter and the greater Exeter area.
