swcomms awarded opportunity to provide communications and connectivity solutions to public, voluntary and charity sectors

swcomms, part of UK-wide Focus Group has been awarded a Crown Commercial Services Network Services 3 framework agreement for telecommunications and connectivity services.

swcomms,bid for three lots and were successful in all three, namely Lots 2a, 4a and 4b covering intra-site connectivity, otherwise known as local area networks, plus traditional telephony services and unified communications.

The South West arm of Focus Group was successful in these lots after demonstrating their ability to deliver and support these services. In fact, they scored 100% on all the answers they submitted for all three lots.

The Network Services 3 framework is a procurement process for the provision of telecommunications and network services, and can be used by the entire UK public sector and their associated bodies and agencies, the voluntary sector, charities, and/or other private organisations acting as managing agents or procuring on behalf of the public sector delivering services of a public nature.

This is an area the wider Focus Group intend to grow in the next few years and the framework will enable us to bid for projects that require the technology we specialise in.”
