The Mortgage Quarter launches a community library!

Exeter-based mortgage brokers The Mortgage Quarter are always looking for ways to support the local community in Exeter. So, when a staff member suggested opening a free library, the directors agreed it would be a great addition.

The new little free library is now mounted on the wall outside The Mortgage Quarter’s office in Richmond Road and is ready to use. It’s open seven days a week, 24 hours a day and is freely accessible to all.

James Miles, Director, comments, “As an Exeter-based business and local employer, we recognise our role in helping make the city a better place for all. We already engage in many fundraising activities to benefit local charities and wanted to do something different. We hope our library will be a popular addition to the street.

“We’d like to thank Little Free Library Builder for helping us get our library box from a church in Belgium and reconditioning it for its new use.”

Everyone is welcome to take or donate a book from the library. There’s no requirement to share a book to take one. The library already has a good selection of books catering for all ages and interests, but The Mortgage Quarter will be grateful for any donations.
