We are reaching out to seek your generous support for our Barbering Programme for the
homeless. This initiative aims to provide individuals with the necessary skills and
qualifications to become fully qualified barbers, equipped to work in salons or start their
own businesses.
Funding an individual’s Level 2 Barber training includes 6 guided training hours per week for
23 weeks, tutor and administration fees, facility usage, barbering kit, registration and
assessment fees, mental health awareness training, as well as contributions towards
products and consumables.
To take one student through this transformative programme costs £8,390. However, with
more students, the cost per student decreases significantly. By sponsoring four students,
we can run the programme at £5,000 per student. We are aiming to raise £20,000 from the
Exeter business community to support four students through this training.
Here are the breakdowns of possible donation amounts:

£1,000: Covers a fifth of one student’s training

£2,500: Half sponsors one student

£5,000: Fully sponsors one student

£10,000: Sponsors two students

Your contribution will not only transform the lives of these individuals but also benefit the
community at large by providing them with a sustainable path
way to employment and independence. If you are interested in supporting us and giving
back to your community, we would be delighted to hear from you.

We appreciate any support you can provide, whether through a single donation or by
pooling resources with other businesses to sponsor a student. Together, we can make a
significant impact on the lives of those in need.

Thank you for considering our request.
