EXIST – TRANSITION TO NET ZERO
EXIST (Exeter Initiative for Science & Technology) Quarterly Event

On Thursday 28th April, EXIST (Exeter Initiative for Science & Technology) will be back with an in-person knowledge sharing and STEMM networking event exploring key regional Net Zero challenges and innovative, cutting-edge solutions making an impactful contribution in Exeter’s ambition to become a Net Zero city by 2030.
The event is taking place at the Digital and Data Centre – the new £10.3 million building based at Exeter College’s Hele Road site, and part of a wider South West Institute of Technology (SWIOT) plan to revolutionise digital, engineering and manufacturing technology across the region.
This knowledge sharing & business engagement session will run from 8:30am – 11am, focusing on the regional aspirations, challenges, innovations, and opportunities supporting regional carbon neutral ambitions.
Whilst other cities and towns have made carbon commitments, Exeter is now in a strong position of being one of the few places with a clear Net Zero roadmap, collaborative city approach, political will and the expertise needed to achieve carbon neutrality.
