How is the Chamber related to other Chambers in the UK?

Exeter Chamber is an independent Chamber and is not officially linked/partnered/affiliated with any other Chamber. We do however work with other Chamber’s on wider regional issues and will signpost to another Chamber if we feel it is more relevant.

If I join Exeter Chamber, will I have access to other Chamber’s services?

No, you will not have access to other Chamber’s services, likewise if you are a member of another Chamber, you will not have access to our services.

How is Exeter Chamber run and managed?

Exeter Chamber is an independent, not for profit, membership organisation with a Board of 10 Directors who determine the strategy and regularly review activity and progress. The Board work with a team from One Voice Media to deliver activity and manage the Chamber office in Barnfield Crescent.

Why should my company join?

Members join the Exeter Chamber for many reasons, but ultimately joining will give you access to a range of benefits designed to help you towards the success of your business.

Chamber membership is so much more than access to service – it’s access to new connections which could become customers, suppliers, partners or perhaps even friends. Take a look at our different membership packages here .

What type of business can join the Chamber?

We welcome all types of businesses from both the private and public sectors.

All sizes are welcome including those from businesses with just one person working from home to large, international corporate companies.

We represent all industry types and employee size.

Is membership for me, or my business?

Membership is for your business and all employees can make the most of the membership benefits.

I’m a member – can my colleagues get the membership benefits too?

Yes of course, any employees of the business/organisation which holds the membership has access to the membership benefits and services.

How long does membership last?

Membership is a 12 month subscription with rolling renewals which take place on 1st April.

New members joining after 1st April will pay a pro-rata proportion of the membership fee.

Can I come along to a trial event prior to signing up as a member?
