InExeter (business improvement district) is run by a Board of Directors representative of the size and sector of businesses across the city. InExeter collects a levy from all businesses and this collective fund is invested back into the city. Since it began in 2015, the BID has already played a key role in supporting businesses and promoting the city. Our current term runs 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2025.
We aim to transform Exeter for everyone who works, lives or visits here and work across three streams of delivery; Welcome & Attractive Streets (improvements to the streetscape, art, city dressing and lights); Experiences (events, activities and celebrating business) and Supporting & Informing Business (training courses, food waste collections, communications, vacancy rate and footfall data).
